"This is her year to get ready for the hot spotlight that will fall on her... I don't know if she wants to, she certainly can, she did very well in the 63 days she was on the national stage," Rove said on NBC's "Meet the Press."

Tea Party is simply another Rovian tactic for sucking votes away from the Democrats. There's a sucker born every minute, and that's enough to win an election. Politics in the USA is disgusting.

Karl Rove should be in jail for an act of treason. The Plame Blame is part of his history, as are many other unspeakable acts. For her part, the song "If I only had a Brain" Comes to mind. Putin and Medvedev will have her for lunch. Wonder what she thinks about India buying reactors, MIG-29's, and an aircraft carrier from Russia?

Oh, you bet she could and would be a lot worse than even Bush was. There is no way that she would snub the establishment because that is where all the goodies come from and if there is anything that motivates Palin, it is access to goodies.

I suspect that Rove is pushing her now so that she will be so badly burned as to be a nonentity by the time 2012 comes around. One of the traditional Republican worst nightmares is someone like Palin as their candidate. It would be Barry Goldwater time all over again.

What a scenerio...the health bill fails to pass, the Republicans retake control in the mid term elections, Sarah Palin runs for president and wins in 2012.

Please, someone, anyone, tell me this isn't possible and if it comes to pass, which exit line do I stand in? Is such insanity even possible?

So the Myans are maybe correct. While the odds are slim to none, if Palin is elected president in 2012 it will be just as possible that time will run out and we will actually be destroyed. We being the world..Look out world..

Rove and the Myans. If both are right and Palin does get elected in 2012 then surely we will see the end of the world (at least as we know it).

Is Lapin running for president designed to help Obama stay in the White house?!

This is a perfect example of how much Karl Rove cares about our country. As John David Hughes said, Rove should be in jail and the perfect theme song for Palin is "if I only had a brain." First Bush, now Palin. Thanks for nothing, Karl Rove.

Pay no attention to the musings of morons and people with self interested malice. They have very little to contribute (see: Palin, Rove, Cheney and Cheney Jr.). The current administration must work hard to stay on their task. The American voters elected THEM and NOT the bad guys!!

I rather the Mayan predictions come true in 2012 than see a Rovian-manipulated knckle-brained she-moose as president of the United States.

America (USA), how the mighty has fallen into degradation decay.

Must the Dark Ages conservatism virus in the republicans infected brains cells.

Obama and the Democratic majority in Congress have done absolutely nothing so far about the problem with the use of unreliable and corruptable e-voting machines, e-voting machines designed and manufactured by companies who are strongly supportive of the Republican Party, voting machines that were proven to be fraudulent in past elections and favored Republican candidates. Not only have Obama and the Congressional Democrats done absolutely nothing about these abortions and threats to democracy and fair, honest, and accurate elections, they are allowing a merger to take place that will create one huge company that will overshadow all other companies in the manufacturing of e-voting machines. If the the e-voting machine problem is not resolved in favor of paper ballots, then someone as radical as Sarah Palin can actually win a presidential election.

I remember thinking that there was no way the US would elect a grade B movie actor like Ronald Reagan, and then we did, and got what we deserved: horrible trickle down economics (which set the groundwork for the current economic situation) and Iran-contra which set the stage for Sadam Hussein's rise to power. Then I NEVER thought America would elect an air-headed frat boy like George Bush and OMG TWICE???!!! but we did and got 9/11, a ridiculous war in Iraq, economic and environmental destruction. DON'T say "bring it on" to Sarah Palin. She could absolutely be elected in this CRAZY country. Clinton helped repair the damage from Reagan. If Obama is given the chance, he may make some repairs to the damage created by Bush, but don't know if our country could withstand a Palin presidency...

A slight correction. The air-headed frat boy was only elected once.

crooks and liars who run this country never get punished. They will survive and cause more problems the next election around.Their focus is the next election and not the problems facing this country that is the reason TERM LIMITS for ALL of them.If you dont PRODUCE, throw them OUT

If the average IQ is truly 100, then the average voter will vote for someone that can be identified with -- not an individual who displays superior knowledge or ability to grasp complex issues. We love 'em like ourselves. Hence, we're doomed.
