We are concerned about a recent drift towards vitriol in the RSN Reader comments section. There is a fine line between moderation and censorship. No one likes a harsh or confrontational forum atmosphere. At the same time everyone wants to be able to express themselves freely. We'll start by encouraging good judgment. If that doesn't work we'll have to ramp up the moderation.
General guidelines: Avoid personal attacks on other forum members; Avoid remarks that are ethnically derogatory; Do not advocate violence, or any illegal activity.
Remember that making the world better begins with responsible action.

Whole ecosystem is destroyed/weake ned by oil spill - and the proof is BP OIL in the dead/killed organism - especially in keystone specie like dolphin ..does not mean much - except for ignorant lawyers.
seems that Noami Klein knows more ecology than "NOAA officials". If you are on the top of the food chain and your food (invertebrates) are destroyed by oil spill - your organism is weak, susceptible to disease - oil absence in the body of dolphin or turtle means NOTHING.
I believe that all this poison is not only exterminating animals.
"by the greed and Evil of corporations - PROFIT, PROFIT, PROFIT - western "civilization".
Anarchist 23, your Fuk U Shima coin is priceless. Our only weapon, really, is sarcasm.
And guess what "results" will be published - ALL OIL EVAPORATED!
Classic example how US government works.
