We are concerned about a recent drift towards vitriol in the RSN Reader comments section. There is a fine line between moderation and censorship. BP lawyers/money are controlling research process/data. In present corporate power structure we can predict negative findings re BP with 100% accuracy.
Whole ecosystem is destroyed/weake ned by oil spill - and the proof is BP OIL in the dead/killed organism - especially in keystone specie like dolphin ..does not mean much - except for ignorant lawyers.
seems that Noami Klein knows more ecology than "NOAA officials". If you are on the top of the food chain and your food (invertebrates) are destroyed by oil spill - your organism is weak, susceptible to disease - oil absence in the body of dolphin or turtle means NOTHING.

In less than a year we have seen two E.L.E.-Extincti on Level Events-first the BP oil spill and now the Fuk U Shima nuclear disaster. The only thing left, I fear, is to choose the manner of our death, as the time has been chosen for us by the greed and Evil of corporations and that time is fast approaching.

Surprise! Oil affects living things! Chemicals wash ashore, run through rivers, wash into underground water systems, are blown into underground water systems during fracking, mining and simply peeing into your toilet.
