We are concerned about a recent drift towards vitriol in the RSN Reader comments section. There is a fine line between moderation and censorship. No one likes a harsh or confrontational forum atmosphere. At the same time everyone wants to be able to express themselves freely. We'll start by encouraging good judgment. If that doesn't work we'll have to ramp up the moderation.
General guidelines: Avoid personal attacks on other forum members; Avoid remarks that are ethnically derogatory; Do not advocate violence, or any illegal activity.
Remember that making the world better begins with responsible action.

Human activities of production or simply survival have destroyed millions of trees, changing local and world climate. Those activities also extend to wasting water and polluting it, spewing tons of pollutants into the atmosphere, over extending soil for food production, eliminating flora and fauna by expanding cities and towns, etc.
It is time for human beings to face up to their over-population issues, but they won't, and most folks researching and reporting on the environment never mention it.
And the Republicans want to stop people from seeking Dr.s to help them end life that are in critical pain and no longer able to live on their own.
More population.
