We are concerned about a recent drift towards vitriol in the RSN Reader comments section. There is a fine line between moderation and censorship. No one likes a harsh or confrontational forum atmosphere. At the same time everyone wants to be able to express themselves freely. We'll start by encouraging good judgment. If that doesn't work we'll have to ramp up the moderation.
General guidelines: Avoid personal attacks on other forum members; Avoid remarks that are ethnically derogatory; Do not advocate violence, or any illegal activity.

Another narcissist with delusions of grandeur, incapable of feeling the shame he SHOULD feel. Too bad he didn't experience the terror and devastation personally during Katrina or Irene. He was somewhere sucking on his silver spoon, no doubt.
No longer will our taxes be used bail out bad corporate debt without equal debt relief for the people.
No longer are our taxes to be used to provide backdoor financial support for USA corporate & military contractors through the humanitarian & military foreign aid. No longer is foreign aid to be used to keep nations in line.
No longer will our taxes be used for political patronage in the hiring mercenaries or privatizing government department loosing @ least 20% of budget to profit.
No longer will we allow tax loopholes for the privileged & corporation or subsidies for profitable corporations.
Defense depart must close at least 700 of the over 800 foreign bases
Time to end military occupation of all sovereign nation especially those we are not at war with. Must end all black op whose purpose is destabilization & regime change.
From now on the peoples taxes are to support the needs of the nation & its people not corporate profit.
A new government administered WPA to rebuild the nation & reduce unemployment by at least 3% not increase corporate profits but spendable income for the people. A private run WPA would take 30-40% of funding off the top for profits & administrative salaries.
If Cantor want to cut something cut Congressional salaries, benefits & travel
Which is worse, surviving and rebuilding after a hurricane, tornado, etc., or living under Republican rule? I think the latter. They are systematically destroying the very warp and woof of American life. They are a scourge that MUST be removed!
We will never recover from Reagonimics and the Bush/Cheney/Rov e reign of terror -- do we want another in the W.H.?
If only some one would take Cantor to the back shed and show him what life is like under the crap that flows from his vocal cords ...

Because of their dirty politics they are putting peoples livihood affected by the Hurricane Irene on hold. How stupid can you get Cantor, Boehner and the rest of the Republican puppets for the T Party?
America you are getting a real wake up call by the Republicans and it was not President Obama who withdrew his hand to help victims of Hurricane Rita.
