We are going to return to our original fully-moderated format in the comments section.

The abusive complaints in the comment sections are just too far out of control at this point and have become a significant burden on our staff. As a result, our moderators will review all comments prior to publication. Comments will no longer go live immediately. Please be patient and check back.

I am so glad that military finally released Suu Kyi. I'm concerned that this country will also become a military dictatorship. Conservatives want to eliminate or dwindle social programs such as Social Security and medical care for indigent yet want to increase military spending and unneccasary wars. think that sort of thing happened in Germany and Russia before Hitler and Stalin took over. Only the Jews instead of gays and the poor were demonized.

Maybe she could be invited to lecture us on the evils of conservatism. Hopefully she won't be stomp on the head by four right-wing conservative angry white male thugs like that young 23 years all girl did in Kentucky last month for excercising her free speech in front a rabid mentally chanllenged TEA party candidate sideshow!
