Sheldon Adelson Continues to Pour Money Into Pro-Romney Super PAC

By Chris Moody, The Ticket/Y!News

21 July 12

estore Our Future, a super PAC supporting Mitt Romney's campaign for president, raised about $20 million in June, more than three times the amount pulled in by the main super PAC behind President Barack Obama's re-election bid.

Just under half of the donations came from Las Vegas casino magnate Sheldon Adelson and his wife, who each donated $5 million apiece to the effort.

The group also received gifts of $1 million or more from a handful of sources, including Boston-based private equity leader John W. Childs, Texas-based real estate investor Harlan Crow and businessman Bill Koch. Foster Friess, who supported former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum's Republican primary bid, gave $200,000.

So far this calendar year, Restore Our Future has raised $52 million and has $23 million left in cash on hand, according to financial disclosures filed with the Federal Election Commission Friday. The June haul is a significant boost from May, when the group raised $4.9 million.

Priorities USA Action, which supports Obama, took in $6.1 million in the same month.

I wonder how much AIPAC is pouring in? We will never know, since Congress passed legislation exempting the largest Israeli Lobbying group from reporting to whom and how much they donate. Until we mandate no duel citizenship holders in government, expect floods of cash to opose anyone who even questions the actions of Israel.

The real issue is not how much money Adleson is pouring in, but how much Soros is pouring in. Adelson has realized, as have many Americans, that the only real purpose for defeating Obama is simply to punish him for spouting Socialism and Mohammedanism and trying to remake America into a middle-east Arabic caliphate. Hence the slogan: Vote NObama in NOvember! (sic)

As of 6 days ago Romney has $394 million and Obama had $552 million, and Obama out raised Romney by $10 million in June. One article I read clais that the Saudi's are funding Obama, while the Jews are funding Romney. I wonder who has the most money? I hope that they outlaw political ads during the Olympics.

For a casino magnate Adelson, IMHO, is making a bad bet. I have faith in the intelligence of the American public. They will see through the BS, ultimately, and vote for their interests - which have zero relationship to Romney and his stakeholders. What this all has to do with AIPAC and Jews is pure conjecture as far as I can tell...this seems like a prejudicial (against Jews) red herring. Although it's true the Jewish lobby is strong what's more important is Israel's strategic geographic position in the Middle East...ya think?

Like the 'real inerests of Americans' are linked to those of the Socialists and the Mohammedans? Get real! There is no profit or prosperity for America in either of those two failed programs. Look around you. Do you see anybody in the Middle East propsering except on oil money?

Does this make Willard "Mitt" Romney the best political lackey that money can buy?
