From varying accounts of Mr. Holmes behavior leading up to this massacre, there has been wide spread speculation that he has schizophrenia. I can tell you that schizophrenia is a cognitive developmental disability that in its early stages, does has symptoms that Mr. Holmes seemed to display, such as the inability to communicate in a social setting. A neuroscientist at a recent national mental health conference explained it this way: Imagine the brain as a tree. Up until pubirty, neuropathways in the brain grow uninhibited, and then the brain goes through a pruning process. For people with schizophrenia, some pathways are pruned too much while other pathways are pruned to little. The over pruning can result in the diminished social skills while the underpruning can result in hallucinations and delusions. Cognitive Enhancement Therapy has been developed that has recently shown signs of repairing the overpruning. Since those early symptoms of schizophrenia can present themselves in middle school through college years, teachers, guidance counselors, and administrators should receive training to try to identify and treat people earlier. The Director of the National Institute for Mental Health said that currently, treating schizophrenia is like treating heart attacks decades ago, waiting until after they happen. Now, medical scientists have learned of ways to prevent the heart attacks. We need to support NIMH's efforts prevent psychotic episodes

I have contradictory comments Obama can't suddenly support gun control after letting guns in the National Parks without appearing like a flip-flopper. I don't want him to, I want a 3rd Party to, http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/02/17/obama-defends-bush-rule-permitting-guns-national-parks/ Gun owners now for gun control, http://www.youngphillypolitics.com/article_about_gun_some_gun_control_gun_owner_willa_howebennett The Green Party supported the Bradly Bill but today the pro-gun Libertarian Party of Delaware endorsed the Green Party nominee for President. And Libertarians are part of Green sponsored Peace Demos. Not for my contradict, ironically all gun legislation when it came to James Holmes would have let him commit the mass murder he planned. Less ammo wouldn't have jammed his big gun and waste time going to his car for another one. Any agent breaking in when he set his tape machine to top volume would have been injured. Agents rushing in to rescue would have blown up the apartment building. Everything went right except the job counselor and psychiatrist didn't team up to encourage someone who only answers yes and no instead of conversation to get a home job on his computer, http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2180101/James-Holmes-How-did-painfully-shy-straight-A-student-Americas-hated-killer.html?ito=feeds-newsxml While arguing, Americans should get together and be thankful for what didn't happen
